Three new printing plotters, range of Designjet from Hewlett Packard, were installed in printing houses of group Impression: Prague (Czech Republic), Cerknica (Slovenia) and Edéleny (Hungary). Model Designjet 9000s was originally developed by Seiko using solvent inks, its basic diversity from previous types of Designjets. This type of inks provides very good outdoor stability without any additional surface protection need. It also makes it possible to print on large spectrum non-coated substrates. Working with printing resolution 720 dpi and printing speed up to 24 m2 per hour new Designjet 9000s perfectly fit between well-established indoor plotters Designjet 5500 and high capacity printers Vutek, Nur and Scitex like very suitable enlargement of technological possibilities.
The well-tried printer Nur Fresco was moved from Prague printing house Eclipse to the printing house Hecht in Cerknica, Slovenia in the frame of consolidation of manufacturing capacity across Impression Group. Printing house in Slovenia owns already tree digital printing machines and also complete finishing department and it is able to offer complete product range of digital large format printing.
